Styling black for the fall

The easiest color to style is black, it's basic yet chic. Whether you have a uniform or need something to wear if you have no time to style, black is the way to go.  Here are some tips to add when you considering fall purchases.

1. Layer it.

Take some of your favorite pieces and layer them to make some cool contrast in your outfit. Try an oversized blazer with a cool bra or crop top and pair it with leather pants or tight trousers. The oversized blazer is perfect to dress up or down.

2. LBD

Every woman should have a Little Black Dress in their closet, a minimum of five. No matter the occasion a black dress can save the day. Black, in general, is a sexy color, but add some legs or cleavage and it will elevate your simple outfit.

3. Boots

This is the staple a lot of people forget about, this is the one item that you should splurge on. Splurge does not mean buying outside of your budget, but it does mean spending a little more time on quality (genuine leather, comfort, and style). I suggest purchasing a flat and a heel that way you can alternate.

4. Lace and Leather

A fun way to add black to your wardrobe is by incorporating mesh, see-through, organza, and leather. They add some excitement to boring outfits, try wearing a see-through black top with a cute leather skirt or pants. Another fav is a leather moto jacket, the best time to catch sales on leather jackets is the spring in summer when they aren't in season.
