Makeup mistakes to avoid

 Wrong Foundation Formula.
The wrong foundation formula will mess up your entire look. It is important to know what type of skin you have so that you know what formula works for you. You should ask yourself a few questions do you have dry skin, combination, oily, or are you only oily in your t-zone area?  Is this foundation for a day time or night look? I would suggest lighter foundations for day-time something that's sheer to medium coverage and you are wearing it for a night out make sure the foundation has a good flashback for taking photos. If you have dry skin something completely matte may cling on to any dry patches, and for oily skin some luminous foundations may make you appear greasy.

Too much makeup.
Sometimes too much makeup can appear cakey or heavy, making it hard for the skin to breathe. Try applying a light layer first then add where needed to avoid over doing it.

Not properly Moisturizing.
Before you start your makeup always apply moisturizer just in case, even if you have oily skin. It gives the foundation something to cling on to. I personally like to use either a light oil or Kiehl's Ultra cream moisturizer then apply a primer.

The wrong eyebrow shape.
Your eyebrows are the anchor of your face.  Find someone who listens to what you want and follows directions, eyebrows take a long time to grow back and one wrong move can take months to fix.

Not Blending your makeup.
BLEND BLEND BLEND BLEND, even when you think you blended enough blend again. Your face should be seamless and everything should blend together without any harsh lines or breaks in between your concealer and foundation. This is something even I still have trouble with, but lately beauty blenders have seemed to work for me to get an even application.
