Best place to sell your unwanted clothes

In the last few post I have talked about getting rid of things you no longer wear, today I am sharing a few apps to help letting go a little easier. For a while I went to stores that "claimed" to specialize in buying your unwanted items and was always disappointed in their buying process. They wanted my perfectly unworn clothes for practically nothing, just to sell them to someone else for a higher price. With new age technology you can sell anything you want directly off your phone, and control how much they sell for, the best part is that it allows you to reach a wider audience. These apps and websites help you sell your unwanted items without a lot of effort, and most handle the shipping for you, while acting as a middle man between you and the buyer to protect both parties safety.

Poshmark is a free app for selling and buying clothes, you have full control over how much the item sells for and potential buyers can leave comments or ask questions. It's like eBay without the extra hidden fees, you just type in the particular item you are looking for and it will show everyone selling it or something similar. It connects sellers and buyers across the country and handles the payment and shipping, taking 20% of the sale.

Depop is a mobile app for android and iOS users, based out of London, it is very easy to use for both sellers and buyers. You just upload a picture(s) of the item, a short description, size, and post.

Tradesy is rather new, this is my go to when I want to sell my unwanted designer items, unlike Ebay there are no hidden charges later on. When you sell your item, Tradesy takes their cut and handles the shipping cost, they always tell you what the item you are selling as sold for in the past.
