Growing Your Eyebrows Out

My eyebrows by far are one of my favorite features, they're thick, black, and full. Of course, I did not fully appreciate them until I got older. I have had countless run-ins with a bad brow job, either they give me a spaghetti noodle(thin ass eyebrow) or they give me two different shapes. I remember the first time I realized your eyebrows mattered. It was at the tender age of 6, I shaved my left eyebrow clean off. My mother made me walk around with one eyebrow for a few days to teach me a lesson, eventually giving me a band-aid. Sidebar: what the hell did I think a band-aid would do?? Nonetheless, it was at that moment I knew I never wanted to walk around naked faced again. A few months ago instead of going to my normal brow lady, I strayed off and now I am paying for it. So what to do when you are in the process of growing your eyebrows out??

1. Do not touch them... Avoid waxing, plucking, threading, everything. Let them grow out. Eyebrows can take around 4-8 to grow back.
2. Apply eyebrow serums... Helps condition and nourish weak hair follicles. On a budget try castor oil
3. Fill in lightly... Emphasis on "light" no ones eyebrow is completey filled in. So no heavy eyebrow makeup. You look scary
4. Clean up... When your brows do grow back. Your new favorite saying when visiting your brow lady will be "clean them up". I don't care how many times you have to repeat it, make sure they hear you. A clean up ensures they don't get too snatch happy.
